The day when Queensland venues can re-open for dine-in trade has been set for Friday, May 15, and we couldn’t be more excited. Read on for our (regularly updated) list of venues offering dine-in, and get booking!
The pizza and pasta you know and love is coming back from Saturday! Spots are sure to book out quickly, so keep an eye on the Il Gancio and Il Verde Facebook pages for more info on how to book (and have an Aperol for us, please!).
Mr Chester | Fortitude Valley
Pair your pizza and wine with a perfectly chic setting from Saturday, with 10 lucky guests at a time getting to enjoy Mr Chester! There’s just a $5 deposit (dedicated from your bill) to book, which you can do here.
Paw Paw Cafe | Woolloongabba
She’s back and offering bookings for break, lunch and dinner! If you’ve been craving a cafe break (and coffee to match), Paw Paw’s fresh flavours and Insta-worthy plates are sure to hit the spot. Head here to make your booking.
Baja | Fortitude Valley

Proof BBQ and Booze | Windsor
Time to get meaty! The barbecue lords at Proof are offering 90-minute seatings from midday to 7:30 pm, starting from 3 pm this Saturday. Head to their OpenTable to book in for your carnivorous feast.
Dickis | New Farm
Plant-based breaky-lovers, rejoice! Dickis is opening up the doors to diners-in on Saturday to ten diners at a time. Book in by calling or texting 0414 374 993 (and prepare to waffle!).
Pie Town | West End

The Smug Fig | Woolloongabba
Brunch, baby! The Smug Fig is serving up dine-in brunch till 11:30 daily from Monday, May 18, with one-hour seatings for those ordering food (not just drinks, for now). Head to their website for more info and to book!
Billykart | West End
Your favourite brunch is coming to you, on a plate! Billykart is offering one-hour brunch sittings on Saturday and Sunday only (at this stage) from 7:30 to 1:30, with an all-day menu of Billykart brunch classics available. Dinner is also on the cards on May 16, 21, 22, and 23 – email Billykart to enquire about both.
South Side Bistro | Sunnybank
You have 1.5 hours to enjoy your Shaoxing chicken wings on a puffle (because as if you’d order anything else) from Saturday! Give the team a call on 3172 5848 to book your slot for dining-in.

Brunch is coming! Huskk is welcoming diners-in from Saturday, but they’re not taking bookings so prepare to socially-distance queue (it’ll be worth it for the coffee in an actual cup and gingerbread pancakes, we promise).

Maeve | South Brisbane
After shutting their doors to weather the worst of COVID, Maeve is flinging them open again on Saturday, May 16 and Sunday, May 17 by offering four slots for 1.5-hour seatings from 4 pm (4-5:30, 5:30-7, 7-8:30, and 8:30-10), as well as accommodating walk-ins from midday as appropriate. Elska | Wilston
She only had a brief run before closures had to happen, but Elska is opening up again in style on Friday, May 15. Only seating 12 at the best of times, 10 guests will be treated to the Nordic-inspired degustation. Book in here (hurry!).
Nota | Paddington
The cosy interiors and classic food and wine at Nota are calling! Starting this Saturday, you can dine in on Thursdays-Saturdays from 6 pm, with Fridays and Saturdays limited to two seatings: 6 pm-8 pm, or from 8:15 pm. To make sure it’s a feasible offering, there’s a $50 minimum spend (but that won’t be a problem when you see the menu!). Call the team on 3217 6116 to book.
