Where to Dine on Christmas Day 2018
Christmas. To some it’s the most wonderful time of the year, but to others? It’s a whole lot of mess, disorganised families and chaos. It can be a headache – but it doesn’t have to be that way.
We believe you should get your Christmas meal and eat it too, so we’ve rounded up some of our favourite places to enjoy Christmas day lunch or dinner – no clean up required.
Regatta Hotel | Toowong
For a Christmas Day lunch that’s set to sleigh, there’s only one place you need to be. Brisbane’s beloved riverside Queenslander, the Regatta, is the gift that keeps on giving – with two memorable packages on offer for you and your fam. Dine on a four course luncheon in The Boatshed, or make your way to a private function space with a dedicated seafood buffet. Both options come with a three hour beverage package, and inclusions such as roast turkey, Balmain bugs and steamy Christmas pudding. Find out all the tasty details and book here.

A four-course banquet highlighting local meat and produce as well as Spanish delicacies sourced internationally is on offer, so you’ll be able to savour tapas, charcuterie, slow-roasted suckling meats and happily embrace awkward smalltalk while descending into a food coma. A banquet would be nothing without a selection of handmade dessert canapes, so they will be provided too (yay!). For $70 per person, you can grab a ticket and relax knowing everything (foodwise) is taken care of. Kids meals are available for under 12s, and bookings can be made here. Feliz Navidad!
