If anyone tells you that you can’t eat gelato in winter, get rid of them.

It’s been an eventful week on the foodie front. From $1 dumplings to gourmet seafood dinners, here’s what you missed…

Gelato Messina is forever scooping outside of the box, and their newest special has certainly sparked our interest! Cranking their bake-at-home offerings up a notch, Messina has announced a super sticky brioche dessert available for pre-order from June 29, and pick-up from selected stores July 3-5. The sticky snails filled with choc chips, vanilla custard and malted caramel sauce go perfectly with any of Messina’s decadent scoops, and a topping from their new range, including choc-hazelnut, dulce de leche or peanut butter flavours. We were shook this week when we heard news of not one, but two new specials coming out of One Fish Two Fish in the coming weeks! Wednesday, July 8 will see celebrated chef Zac Sykes enter the One Fish kitchen for another Red Fish Blue Fish collaboration dinner for a stunning four-course meal heroing Rocky Point cobia. Friday, July 10 will be a celebration of the Sunshine State, with the launch of the Toast to the Queensland Coast tasting menu! The five-course menu will be on offer for lunch Fridays-Sundays, with yummies like Moreton Bay bug toast, Fraser Isle spanner crab-stuffed zucchini flowers, and a hella tasty Sunshine Spritz on arrival! 

Anyone else out there a real Monday-hater? Well, we have something that will make the worst day of the week become the best. Harajuku Gyoza is offering $1 dumplings every Monday, meaning you can munch on morsels like grilled duck gyoza with spicy vinegar, or takoyaki gyoza for just a gold coin! To claim, download the Harajuku Gyoza app and you’ll be able to nab other deals like 2 for 1 plates on Tuesdays, and 50c wings on Wednesdays!
