Anyone feeling a li’l cheeky?

Read on for marg specials, mind-blowing taco menus, and your chance to win Cheeky Poke Bar freebies!

The CBD is set to score its own Cheeky Poke Bar with the Japanese/Hawaiian hybrid coming to Ulster Lane this Thursday, February 18! In celebration of the fifth Cheeky Poke Bar opening, the cheeky team are hosting a pop-up in Queen Street Mall (outside the Wintergarden) on Thursday, February 25 and Friday, February 26, with a “Cheeky Wheel of Fortune” offering punters freebies and prizes. BRB, making sure we have those days off.

Known for its A1 beers and grungy industrial feel, Slipstreams Yeerongpilly brewery is being transformed into a whopping big brewpub, set to open its doors on Friday, February 19. Get comfy indoors or outdoors (hello beer garden!) and feast on USA-inspired eats like battered barramundi tacos, Southern-fried chicken burgers, and platters of slow-cooked meats straight from the smoker.

Mondays have a bad rep, but they’re not all bad… next Monday, February 22 happens to be International Margarita Day! The venues of The Prince Consort have decided to stretch Margarita Day into Margarita Month, with some unique twists on the classic sip! Think Passion Pop margaritas at 400 Rabbits, pink lemonade and prosecco margaritas at La La Land, and a Margarita Day Party on Sunday, February 21 at Garden Bar. Head here to read more about the offers.

Tex-Mex legends El Camino Cantina have just dropped a hot new taco menu, with 12 weird, wild, and wonderful flavour combinations to wrap your lips around. The Taco Topia menu is available at all cantinas across the country, including the mega-venue that recently landed in South Bank. Catch us smashing the El Mac taco (beef mince, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions, and special sauce) and the King Caesar taco (grilled chicken, lettuce, bacon crumb, parmesan crisps, and Caesar dressing) with a marg or two to wash it all down.

TBH, every week should start with margarita Monday and taco Tuesday.
