Are you ready to Beaux Rumble?

James Street’s fiery new eatery has officially opened its doors.

Inspired by New York’s dining scene and the Beaux-Arts architecture of Grand Central Station, Beaux Rumble is now officially open and ready to put you in an empire state of happiness.  

The first of four highly anticipated Ada Lane retailers, Beaux Rumble is bringing wood, smoke and fire to the already delicious James Street. The open-aired kitchen is the focal point, headed by internationally acclaimed chef Alan Wise, who has described dining at Beaux Rumble as a taste adventure – and he’s not wrong!

The fiery modern menu has a heavy focus on seafood and plant-based dishes, with smoke adding a delicious complexity to already-inventive ingredients and flavours. Smaller plates on offer include corn polenta bread with crème fraiche, and grilled king oyster and Portobello mushrooms with escabeche and parsley. For something more substantial, the glazed Fremantle octopus, chickpea puree and toasted chili glaze or the wood-roasted sirloin, potato terrine, onion and a black pepper compote are hard to say no to.

An extensive drinks menu features all your favourites and a few exciting must-tries, including many a New York-inspired cocktail. Always leaving us wanting more, Beaux Rumble will soon release a brunch menu to feast our eyes on. We’re (not so) patiently waiting…

Classy, innovative and imaginative, Beaux Rumble is the newest eatery popping up on the Brisbane food scene and we’ll have more where that came from, please!
