Za Za Ta goes vego!
So much plant-based happiness in so few syllables.
Experience the flavours of Tel Aviv (with plenty of theatrics thrown in for good measure)...
Expect a firmly themed drinks menu evoking sultry nights in Israel’s alleyways, with exotic flavours throughout thanks to ingredients including olive oil and date gin, nectarine cordial, rose tea and plenty of arrack, pomegranate and fresh mint.
“Guests can expect flavours and aromas of ancient Arabian spice routes [like] bitter orange gin and fig-infused rum mixed with our housemade Middle Eastern amaro for Kazba’s take on the classic Whiskey Sour,” said cocktail menu creator Jared Thibault.
An entire section of the cocktail menu (aptly named Up in smoke) is dedicated to flavoured wafts, including applewood smoke, cherry smoke, and maple smoke, which features as part of the fig rum Old Fashioned alongside Ron Zacapa 23, Esprit de Figues, demerara sugar, toasted almond bitters and dehydrated fig.
As well as the impressive cocktail list, a range of bites (entirely vegetarian, in line with ZA ZA TA’s offering) is on offer for late-night snacking, like stuffed zucchini flowers with baba ganoush and caper aioli, chilli halloumi savoury doughnuts, and house-made falafel wraps (late-night kebab who?).
A new must-visit spot to escape the ordinary and experience the exotic, Kazba is open Wednesday to Saturday nights from 5 pm from Friday, March 19.
