Every month, By the River – Jazz & Food Trucks sets up in one of Brisbane’s best kept secret heritage locations, Newstead House Brisbane, for a day of sunshine, smooth jazz, Newstead Brewing Co. Beers and scrumptious eats from 10 of the best food trucks in town. While you’re inhaling some of the best mobile food in Brisbane, relax with tunes from the Jazz Music Institute.
THE END OF THE LINE FESTIVAL | WOOLLOONGABBA | 10AM-11PM
Woolloongabba’s annual street festival is back, taking over Logan Road for a full day of market and food stalls, food trucks, live music, and outdoor dining. Head along to take in the sounds of the local bands who’ll be taking the stage and explore the art installations before you take a seat at one of the many restaurants in the area to enjoy an al fresco feed. Best of all, entry to the festival is free!

If you’re not sipping bottomless mimosas with your brunch on a Sunday morning, then, frankly, you’re just not doing Sunday right. We can’t think of a better way to spend a Sunday than at this glam bar, complete with live entertainment and a pan-Asian inspired brunch menu. BULIMBA FESTIVAL | BULIMBA | GOLD COIN ENTRY
Oxford 152 & Barcadia have combined forces to bring the annual Bulimba Festival back to life, with a huge day of tunes, street performers, and of course, a whole lot of food and booze! The day will see Bulimba taken over by food trucks, pop-up bars and two live music stages, with entry just a gold coin donation. WEEKEND OF TARTNESS | THE SCRTACH | NOV 12-13
The Scratch Bar’s annual tart-fest is your opportunity to taste test an impressive collection of sour brews and rocking to your favourite jams. Kicking off at midday on Saturday, the weekend-long bender brags a sweet collection of sour ales to be tapped at various times throughout the weekend. Be prepared, they’ll be funkier than your dad’s dance moves, so bring a fresh palette and even fresher moves.

The Sunnybank $2 Food Trail is back, bigger, and better than ever. On November 12, make your way down to the Sunnybank Plaza & Sunny Park Shopping Centres for this delicious event.
