5 ways to take your function to the next level

Remember the last time you were asked to organise a Christmas party? The one that ended up like a frat house run amok, with the boss’s shag carpet strewn with salami from the pizza ‘catering,’ unpalatable ‘cocktails’ emptied into vases all over the house and an unfortunate incident involving the hummus. Yep, there’s no way anyone will ever forget it (there wasn’t even enough booze for that). Unless, of course, you host the most perfect, fun, delicious party this year: one worthy of it’s own hashtag on Instagram. You might think it’s impossible, but we’ve got the secret ingredient: Cuisine on Cue, our number one pick when it comes to catering, planning and all round party madness! With their help, we’ve made a checklist to ensure your next celebration goes to plan. Step #1: Put on a delicious spread Whether it’s a dinner party for 10 or an epic end of year celebration for 300, the food is what everyone really comes to a party for (ok, and the booze – see #2). No matter what you’re planning, Cuisine on Cue has catering packages to ensure everyone is canapé happy. You want those mini pork belly bites on fancy spoons? You got it. Everyone’s demanding a buffet? Consider it done. With plenty of menus to choose from, and the option of designing your own feast, even the most vegan, gluten intolerant, peanut allergic guest will leave with a full stomach. Step #2: Booze it up You have to admit that letting Stacy from accounting’s cousin launch his new career as a bartender at the Christmas party was a bad idea. You need staff who know what they’re doing, and can bring the alcohol to match their expertise. Cuisine on Cue can do both – heck they can even bring the bar so you don’t have to make do with an esky! Step #3: Pick your venue So the boss’s house wasn’t the best venue for a staff party? No kidding. Perhaps a marquee under the stars, or a super-hipster vintage cellar would have been a little (A LOT) less disastrous. Cuisine on Cue’s team of party planners know all about the hottest locations or perfectly intimate settings to hold your soiree! Let them sort it out for you – and then you can take the credit. Step #4: Let a professional take care of all the details This is the true path to great party memories. You might have the skeleton idea of a party – but have you thought about cutlery? Who’s buying the ice? Do people even hire DJs anymore?! Stress less, and let Cuisine on Cue handle all of the details. Then, you’ll have more time to decide what you’re going to wear. Of course, they can probably help with that too. Step #5: Stick to the budget No point planning a rocking party if you need a whole other year to put aside enough dosh for it. Cuisine on Cue can fit the party to your budget, ensuring that you get the absolute best value for money. What more could you ask for? So don’t let this year’s festive season party be just another awkward, let’s-get-this-over-with-so-we-can-start-the-christmas-holidays, small talky party as last year. End the year in style and get Cuisine on Cue on the case.
