There’s a storm of events brewing this week thanks to Brewsvegas 2016 so prepare that beer belly and those stretchy pants, it’s going to be a delicious week!

Bao Chicka Wow Wow | Wandering Cooks | South Brisbane Up for a night of bulk baos? Ugly Food & Co will be dishing them up at Wandering Cooks, with enough pork belly and tofu baos to feed an army. Get your fill, hit the bar and enjoy a Wednesday night that will leave you wonton more.

Brewsvegas Launch Party | Wandering Cooks | South Brisbane Brewsvegas 2016 is finally here and this year the line up is brew-zerk! Get your beer belly ready for some serious sipping and kick of the festivities at the launch party, hosted by Wandering Cooks. There will be loads of Aussie brews to get you in the spirit for the coming days of beery goodness and some tasty eats courtesy of Alphabet Café, kicking off at 5pm.

The Butter Factory Markets | Kingston Butter Factory | Kingston The Butter Factory Markets is the perfect way to spend your Saturday with handmade market stalls, food stalls and live entertainment and craft workshops for everyone to enjoy. Running 9am until 3pm at the Kingston Butter Factory, the event will feature plenty of hand made items in the rustic surrounds of the old butter factory.

Oregon Wine Dinner | Aria | CBD For a Monday night with an indulgent difference, head to Aria for their Oregon wine showcase, with four courses designed my Matt Moran himself matched with some of the State’s best wines. Wednesday 16 Let it Rain Tromba | Unforgiven | Paddington Unforgiven is throwing a Mexican fiesta to celebrate Australia’s newest boutique tequila brand, Tromba, and they’re pulling out all the stops! While tequila may make you think of a burning throat and a throbbing head, Unforgiven are here to change that by perfectly mixing this smooth blue agave tequila in delicious cocktails that will soon turn Tromba into your new favourite spirit. Thursday 17 Brews & Bacon Valley Bar Hop | Various | Fortitude Valley  Tour the Valley bars, taste test delicious brew and learn something new while you’re at it! Brisbane beer blogger, Jason, from Brews & Bacon is hosting an educational but totally fun bar hop where you can taste different styles of beer at a number of venues while he gives you all the background knowledge behind your fave drops. The crawl kicks off at Bloodhound Bar at 3pm, and tickets are only $30 which includes a beer at each venue. The Catchment Catch | Catchment Brewing Co. | West End Throw out your line and reel yourself in a ticket to a night full of seafood, beer, wine and whisky. Catchment Brewing Co. will be creating four delicious courses of fresh seafood followed by dessert, each paired with a beer, wine and whiskey so you can see which drop perfectly compliments each meal. Saturday 19 Hopfields 2 | Bloodhound Bar | Fortitude Valley Hoppy Brewvegas to all you beer lovers! This year, Bloodhound Bar’s gift to you is the return of Hopfields where beer is the name of the game and it’s in everything from the food to the spirits. There will also be a selection of special collaboration brews on tap concocted by the best of the best just for this event, so make sure you hop along to Bloodhound Bar and get sipping on these delicious brews.
