12 days of Christmas feasting at Treasury

You can keep your turtle doves, French hens and golden rings (actually, we’ll take those last ones), we’d much rather have 12 days of everything Treasury Casino has to offer this December! From Yuletide high teas to laneway bars and bubbly celebrations, there’s something to tempt everyone into the colourful city icon this silly season.
Fat Noodle’s 3rd birthday
Luke Nguyen’s Fat Noodle is turning 3! Oodles of noodles and stacks of steamed buns have made their way onto the plates of hungry diners at the Asian-fusion restaurant over the years, and what better way to celebrate that with even more! From Wednesday 9th-Friday 11th of December, Fat Noodle will be taking to Reddacliff Place between 11am-2pm for a tasty pop-up, serving 2-for-1 bowls of steaming pho for lunch.
DIY G&T at Stephens Lane
Have you found Brisbane’s newest laneway bar yet? If not, here’s some incentive for you: they’re pouring deliciously fun carafes of DIY infused gins! Choose your perfect summer flavour from lemon thyme and juniper or grapefruit, pineapple and sage, add to your glass of Bombay Sapphire and tonic and sip while you enjoy sweet potato fries and tempura vegetables in the hidden laneway. treasury casino high tea brisbane
Festive High Tea
The decadent high tea at The Lab has gotten a Santa-approved makeover, combining classic scones and cupcakes with rum balls, spicy fruit mince pies and turkey and cranberry sandwiches. Book for two on a Saturday or Sunday in December (early Christmas present for Mum, hint hint) and you’ll even get a complimentary bottle of Chandon.
Sundae special at Kitchen
Every week, the creative sweet lovers at Kitchen put their heads together to come up with the wildest, most indulgent sundae they can possibly create – think rum balls with rum and raisin ice cream, caramel popcorn or banoffee. Each one is only on the menu for a week though, so you have to get in quick!
Business bites
Still haven’t booked that end of year corporate bash or planning session to get all your geese a laying for 2016? Well it’s not too late (but you better get leaping), Treasury has all the space you need. Whether it’s a totally profesh board meeting or just a night of wining and dining to toast to another year down, they’ve got you covered, with a multitude of spaces across their many venues.
‘Tis the season for lunching!
It’s that time of year, when you don’t even make it to Friday without needing a rather large glass of wine to get you through the working day.  Skip the sandwich over your keyboard and drag a co-worker to Ryan’s on the Park instead, where there’s a tempura plate piled with calamari, prawns, scallops and tempura vegetables with your name on it. And an espresso martini or two. treasury casino the kitty
Cocktails at The Kitty
You’ve got a friend flying into town midweek with a mere two hours to spare for an afterwork catch-up – where do you go? A bar where cheese platters and luscious cocktails are on the menu seven nights a week – The Kitty. After all, there’s no better time for drinking on a Tuesday than Christmas, right?
Christmas Day feasting
Planning your menu for Christmas Day already? Well stop. Just don’t even. Because with both the Treasury Heritage Hotel and The Lab willing to do all the cooking for you, you’d be crazy not to go-ho-ho! Stuff yourself silly at the Treasury Heritage Hotel’s buffet lunch overflowing with every festive dish imaginable, or indulge in sophisticated (but just as food coma inducing) five course degustation at The Lab. You can book here.
A grand start to the New Year
Pop bottles and eat your way into 2016 at The Lab Restaurant and Bar, with a four course dinner to make sure you end the year the right way – with bubbles and a food baby. The Lab is putting on an a la carte dinner with two sittings, 5pm and 8pm, in their decadent surrounds just a hop, skip and a jump to the ultimate view of the fireworks along the river. Bonus, every two tickets purchased recieves a complimentary bottle of bubbly! Get in touch with The Lab to book. The halls are decked, Rudolph is waiting by the bar – all that’s missing is you! Words by Ranyhyn Akui Keeping the G&G up to date with all the latest tasty tidbits requires a lot of double lattes and espresso martinis, so we occasionally need to give out some sponsored love. But rest assured that we only work with businesses that we think are really nifty, as the sponsor for this post is!
