Cheap eats #14

  • Food & Booze
So you got a bit excited and chewed through your earnings a tad too quick last week. Paypass just makes it way to easy to spend dough, and after magically waving that card for a few rounds of after work drinks on Friday, a new outfit for that concert you bought tickets to and even just the three lattes you needed to make it through each day, your pay has ‘magically’ disappeared. But if you’re smart, you’ve kept a back up stash of cold, hard to cash in your underwear drawer for just such occasions, and we know the just the cheap eats to spend it on. Remy’s | Paddington Sundays at Remy’s are phat and delicious, with the sound of hip-hop beats a groovy match to their 2-for-1 burgers between 3.30 and 5.30pm. Remy’s bacon cheeseburgers bring all the boys to the yard, but your flava might be the vegetarian burger or BLT. You can probably even afford to sip craft beer when your thirsty, because with 2 burgers for $10, you can party like it’s yo’ birthday. Can we get another hip hop reference in there? Probably not, so just drop it like it’s hot and get on down to Remy’s. Words by Ranyhyn Akui
